The University of Texas Weightlifting Team will be hosting its inaugural Longhorn Invitational on Sunday, October 3rd at the Recreational Sports Center. Open to all current college students in and around Texas! This local meet will serve as a 2022 National University Qualifier (NUQ), as well as offer the opportunity to bring collegiate weightlifters together to lift and compete with their peers!

All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the University of Texas Weightlifting Team and their travel to the 2022 University National Championships in Columbus, OH.

1st-3rd place overall awards will be given based on Sinclair for the following divisions:

Open Female & Open Male

Underclassman Female & Underclassman Male

Upperclassman Female & Upperclassman Male

Graduate Student Female & Graduate Student Male

This event will feature a full electronic scoring system and IWF certified equipment. USAW membership is required.

*Open to current college students only. Students in high school, taking dual credit coursework are not considered current college students
